Szu-ning Tai

Dr. Szu-Ning Tai is a Taiwanese-born harpist and educator dedicated to inspiring students through the beauty and transformative power of music. She earned her Doctor of Musical Arts in Harp Performance from Boston University.

Dr. Tai performs regularly as a soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral harpist throughout the United States and Taiwan. She is Principal Harpist of the Claflin Hill Symphony Orchestra and has performed across New England with ensembles including the Boston Civic Orchestra, Cambridge Symphony Orchestra, Firebird Pops Orchestra, and Worcester Symphony Orchestra.

Currently, Dr. Tai serves as a music teacher at Marianapolis Preparatory School, where she teaches piano, guitar, violin, and chamber music, and directs concerts and musical productions. Passionate about education, she is committed to nurturing both technical excellence and artistic expression, helping students grow in skill, confidence, and joy through music.
