Faculty Bios

Originally from West Brookfield Massachusetts Robbie Wilson is a multi-instrumentalist, audio engineer, composer, and educator based in Worcester Massachusetts. Robbie studied cello performance alongside audio and composition at Clark University where they graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Music in 2023. In college Robbie formed the Goddard Quartet, a string ensemble that regularly performed on campus for the student body as well as in the Forest is Full of Color. The project was a three concert series of original chamber music written and organized by Robbie which focused on accessibility and identity in the natural environment of New England. After graduating Robbie moved back to the Brookfields taking a position as the assistant audio engineer at Farmview Recording Studio in Sturbridge Ma as well as a teaching position at Berkshire Hills Music Academy. Berkshire Hills Music Academy (BHMA), is a vocational music school for adults with intellectual disabilities. At BHMA Robbie directs several ensembles in addition to teaching individual lessons. Throughout all of their experiences what continually motivates Robbie is the act of making music a verb for people. Something tangible and accessible that people can take part in and be impacted by.
