Program

Practice. Perform. Grow.

The Performance Program gives private lesson students opportunities to develop confidence, musicianship, and the craft of public performance. From supportive Performance Classes to student recitals, performing isn't about perfection—it's part of becoming a musician.

Participation is by teacher recommendation.

Performance Program Sign-Up

  • Performance Classes are a supportive place to perform, learn, and grow alongside musicians of different ages and instruments. Classes explore the craft of public performance, from stage presence and working with a collaborative pianist to recovering from mistakes and connecting with an audience.

  • Collaborative Pianist Rehearsals provide students with an opportunity to experience musical collaboration and refine repertoire with a pianist. Rehearsals may be scheduled when recommended by the student’s teacher.

  • Before each recital weekend, students have the opportunity to rehearse in Vinton Hall and become familiar with the performance space.

  • Student recitals bring together students from across the school for public performances in Vinton Hall.

    Participation requires teacher approval and participation in at least one Performance Class.

Withdrawal Policy

Cancellations made less than one week before a confirmed Performance Class, Collaborative Pianist Rehearsal, or Student Recital, except for illness, are subject to a $15 withdrawal fee.
