Faculty Bios
Lori Hawke
Lori Hawke (they/them) is an educator and theatre practitioner who founded, with Pakachoag Music School, The Quinsigamond Youth Theatrical Company in 2022. The Company serves children in grades 2-8, and encourages creativity, literacy, and self-confidence through its devised based curriculum and methods through three shows per year.
Lori Hawke has a diverse educational background and graduated from Worcester State University in 2021 with a BA in Theatre and English. While in college, in addition to working in theatre professionally, Lori also worked with the Worcester City Transitions program and was a founding member of the American College Theatre Festivals Student Advisory Board for the upliftment of marginalized student voices in performing arts education. Professionally, Lori has worked at the Hanover Conservatory for the Arts, in the K-12 school system, and at YouthBuild Worcester as the Academic Instructor, which focused on job readiness, life skills, and basic education for largely out of school youth. Currently, in addition to PakMusic, Lori teaches and works at Worcester State University as their Costume Shop Supervisor in the theatre department.
