Hello Parents,

Congratulations to everyone who participated in the spring recitals! I was at all four recitals and was very impressed by how well prepared our students were. I thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful music and our new performance space at All Saints.

Summer Music Making Opportunities

Keep the music coming over the summer! Pakachoag will be offering the following:

Private lessons

Summer can be a good time to make progress on your instrument.
Take as many lessons as possible!

Fiddle

Learn some Scottish, Irish, Old Time and/or Swedish tunes!
Classes will be held on the following Thursday afternoons:
July 12th, 19th, August 2nd & 9th at two levels:
Novice – 4:30-5:15 p.m.
For students in Book Two or Three with little or no fiddling experience
Advanced – 5:15-6:00 p.m.
For experienced fiddlers (including current fiddle band members and adults)

Group Classes

Would you like to participate in some group classes over the summer?
Classes will be held on Monday afternoons from 5:15-6:00 with Madalyne Cross at All Saints in Worcester.

Here is how we will determine on what dates classes will meet:
Let me know which of the Mondays listed below you are available. Any class with four or more participants will meet. I will send out a schedule and payment information after I have heard back from everyone.

Possible dates: 7/9, 7/16, 7/30, 8/6, 8/13, 8/20

Quick Start Suzuki Violin & Quick Start Suzuki Cello

The 6 week Summer Quick Start Program is a great way learn about the Suzuki approach and to assess your child’s readiness for instrumental music lessons.

Parent & child attend together as part of a small group class.

For Ages 4 1/2, 5, 6 and 7.

Fall 2018

We are working hard to set up the fall schedule so that both teachers and students know what to expect. 2018/19 Group Class assignments will be sent to you shortly.
