Summer Fiddle

This class is for violinists playing at the level of Suzuki Violin Books 2 and up, through advanced levels.   Summer Fiddle is a really great way to meet other musicians and make new friends, while having fun learning new tunes and developing listening skills.

Faculty member Amy Matherly leads our summer fiddle class for four weeks in July and August.

Schedules & Location

Rehearsal Dates:  Thursday, July 18, July 25;   August 1, August 8,  2019

Fiddle One 4:30 to 5:15 p.m.

Fiddle Two 5:15 to 6:00 p.m.

Location:  2nd and 3rd Floors* at 10 Irving Street (All Saints Church), Worcester

*If you have a disability which precludes you being able to use stairs, please let us know.  Sometimes we are able to arrange a first floor space.

Pre-Requisites and What To Expect

Group One: For students playing at the level of Suzuki Book 2 and 3.

Group Two: For students playing at the level of Suzuki Book 4 and up.

Adults Welcome.

Each group will learn tunes of various styles including Scottish, Old Time, Irish and Swedish.  We’ll also work on developing accompaniments to the tunes.

Tuition & Registration

Tuition:  $94 / $90 discounted if paying with check or cash.
