  • Tuition:  Online – $68; In-Person – $82 (see details and discounts below)

Health, Wellness & Learning through Play

Like all our early childhood classes, our summer classes are designed to teach the way young children learn: through play.

  1. More About Summer Samplers

During each music class, your teacher will lead music activities for the whole family to sing, play, and jam along.  Your teacher will show you how to make everyday items like dish towels, pots, and stuffies into musical props. Whether your teacher is on-screen or distanced outside, each class has been designed as an active music-making experience for little ones and their grownups.

Parent participation is THE key, as you serve as your child’s role model.

Classes are appropriate for children under 5.  For online classes, the entire family is welcome (and encouraged!) to participate in the musical fun.

Pakachoag Summer Samplers provide a sampling of the School’s school-year Music Together program.  Children explore and develop pitch, through singing, and rhythm, through movement.  Parents serve as role models through their participation.  You do not need to have any particular skill set in order to participate!  Classes are designed to be fun and are based on a weekly curriculum that encourages music growth, exploration, and memory development through repetition of songs and activities.

Unlike the school year program, we do not provide a song book, CD and learning guide for the shorter summer program.

  2. Ages

All classes are for children aged birth through five years; an older class is also available upon request for children with and without special needs.

  3. Special Learners Class

We offer a summer Special Learners Online class on Thursdays with Julie Holston.  Time TBA.

This class is for children aged 6 to 10 with special learning needs.  Siblings of any age are welcome to attend with a special learner without any additional tuition.

We do not always have sufficient enrollment to run this class.  If you participate in a Special Learners pod and would like to schedule a class for a pod of at least five families, we may be able to schedule according to your needs.

    Please email info@pakmusic.org if interested.
