Summer is generally a more relaxed time for children and youth than school year when many activities compete for time and attention. As teachers, we find that students often progress more rapidly during the summer. This is, in part, because we learn better when we are not stressed. It is also easier to focus on subject matter that is new or more demanding.
For young children, there is nothing more natural than singing and moving to music. Our summer samplers are a great way to make music part of your summer fun. And, you can meet other families with young children.
Summer program information is generally posted in February and March. If you are not on the mailing list, please go to our Contact Page. On that page, you can sign up. Please mention you’d like summer information.
