Performance Dates:

Fall Production: Lights, Camera, Action!

Take your seats and prepare to be thrilled with songs and special appearances by some of Hollywood's biggest stars. This musical revue features favorite songs from the hit movies SpongeBob SquarePants, Finding Nemo, The Polar Express, Willy Wonka And The Chocolate Factory, and Shrek. With songs and dialogue for up to 25 young performers, this is going to be a blast - for actors and audience alike.

Spring Production: Rats!
The Town of Wor-Chester (aka Worcester for the natives) gets carried away by the local money grabbing Flutist who turns the rats into zombies.

Songs include: We've Got a Rodent Problem! and Aint It Great to be a Rat.

Characters include something for everyone. A little Shy? We have openings for TownsPeople and TownsChildren. Or, hoping to stand out on stage? We'll also need Mr. Rye, the baker; Miss Lilyspoon, the librarian; Constable Blarney, the policeman; Miss Finney, the banker; Mayor Dumfreys, and the Money Grabbing Flutist (who doesn't need to sing) and more. In sum, something for everyone.

Register for January / spring production starting December 1st.

No regularly scheduled classes during school vacations/holidays.

With the rehearsal of each semester’s production serving as the main focus, the instructor leads students in theater games, and improvisational and singing exercises designed to develop each child’s performing skills. Team building exercises and interactive games are used to engage children in working together creatively. The instructor assigns each student a role based on both their interest and skill level, and provides support throughout the semester in helping each student develop their character.

Older, more experienced students may be asked to assume mentoring positions for some of the younger students, with everyone given ample opportunity for their own growth and development.

This program runs for up to 24 weeks for the duration of the school year (through April or early May). Registrations will be accepted during the course of the school year if space permits. Please call the office regarding mid-year registration and tuition.

Please note:   Because this program is tied to set showcase dates, we do not schedule make-ups for snow days, teacher sickness or student absences.

Musical theatre supports children in working as part of a team, encouraging cooperation and sensitivity toward others. In addition to having a good time, students discover naturally, as part of the process, how to problem solve and improve their listening skills.
