Mark LeBlanc Peterson (Musical Theatre; Cabaret Series Workshop) is an active local theatre performer. Prior to coming to Central Massachusetts, Mark worked as an actor and singer in New York City as a member of the Actors Equity Guild, and studied under Tony Award winner Victoria Clark.
In NYC, Mark performed his own one man cabaret show First You Dream; and his two man show Duets!. His performance was selected as a ‘Critic's Pick’ in Time Out New York magazine.
Mark’s concert work included the Sept. 11th benefit concert Voices United, which he also produced; and Sing For Their Supper, with film and Broadway actor Tony Roberts and cabaret great KT Sullivan. Mark also performed in "Miracle on 34th St." at the Westchester Broadway Theatre.
Favorite stage roles performed locally include Harold Hill in "The Music Man", Joe Hardy in "Damn Yankees", El Gallo in "The Fantasticks" and Garry Lejeune in "Noises Off!".
Mark has taught basic acting at Bay Path School in Charlton. He holds a BA in Communications with a concentration in Theatre from Worcester State College. |
