Pakachoag Music School,
founded in 1982 under the auspices of Pakachaog Church,
is located in the residential Pakachoag Hill area of
Auburn, a few minutes south of College Square,
Worcester. Housed since February 1997 in the education
wing of Pakachoag Church, Pakachoag Music School is located in close
proximity of all major routes.
The school benefits from bright, spacious teaching studios, a performance
hall, handicapped accessibility, and ample, free parking. While Pakachoag Music School enjoys
the support of
Pakachoag Church (its founder) through use of facilities, it has
functioned as an independently incorporated institution since 1989. Pakachoag Music School is a
fully certified institutional member of the National Guild of Community Schools of the Arts.

In addition to a full roster of programs now offered in Shrewsbury at the First Congregational Church, the School currently offers satellite Music Together classes in W. Directions to Pakachoag Community Music School
FROM RT. 146 ( MILLBURY/SUTTON/BLACKSTONE VALLEY)
Take Rt. 146 to Route 20 West. Once travelling on Rt.
20 west, at the second set of lights, turn right onto
Greenwood Street (at the Burlington Coat
Factory/MacDonalds intersection). From Greenwood
Street, turn left onto Upland Street (shortly after
Helen’s Bakery). Follow Upland to end. Turn
right and proceed a few yards to end of street - turn
left onto Pakachoag Street. #203 Pakachoag Church
will be on the left.
FROM RT. 20 GOING WEST (SHREWSBURY, MILLBURY)
Take Rt. 20 west past the intersection of Rt.
146/Mass Pike. Proceed as above.
FROM RT. 20
TRAVELLING EAST (OXFORD, SPENCER, STURBRIDGE, CHARLTON)
Take Rt. 20 East beyond Rt. 290.
After passing the rear of the Auburn Mall, turn left
at the top of the hill onto Millbury Street. Proceed
a short distance; turn right just before the Fallon
Clinic onto Bancroft Street. Go to end of Bancroft.
Turn right onto Pakachaog Street. After passing the
Auburn Senior Center on the right, look for #203
Pakachaog Church also on the right.
FROM THE MA TURNPIKE (ROUTE 90)
Take Exit 10 (Auburn/Worcester) to Route 290 East,
toward Worcester. Continue past the Auburn exits to
Exit 11 (College Square). Once off the exit ramp,
continue straight for a short distance. Immediately
prior to the first set of lights, turn right onto
College Street. Go 2 miles (up the steep hill, past
Holy Cross College) - College Street will become
Pakachoag Street. Look for #203 on your left.
FROM I-290 EAST BOUND
Take Exit 11 - College Sqiuare. Just prior to first
set of lights, turn right onto College Street. See
directions for Mass Pike above.
FROM I-290 WEST BOUND
Take Exit 11 (College Square). When coming off the
exit ramp, bear to the left. Proceed a short distance
(moving into the right lane). Just prior to the first
set of lights, take a right onto College Street.
Proceed as with directions from the Mass Pike above.
ONCE YOU HAVE REACHED #203 PAKACHOAG CHURCH
Proceed down the church driveway, around to the back
of the building. Enter on your far right at the
“Education Wing”. Directions to Pakachoag Music School The
education wing entrance is at the far end of the
