Dawn Bennett (Musical Adventures) holds a B.A. in Music Education from Western Maryland College, a M.Mus. in voice from Temple University, and a M.Mus. in piano from Syracuse University. In addition, she took a year of post-graduate work in Musical theater at Syracuse University. Prior to moving to New England, Ms. Bennett pursued an acting career with starring roles in such shows as Phantom of the Opera, Nunsense, and Carousel. In Franklin, MA she taught piano, voice, Kindermusik, and musical theatre at FSPA, and directed musicals for the Benjamin Classical Charter School. Ms. Bennett taught Music for Little Mozarts, a keyboard program for 4-6 year olds, for M. Steinert & Sons, and recently became a certified Musikgarten instructor. She resides in Auburn, and keeps a studio in her home, as well as at churches in Westboro and Holden.

Julie Holston Quimby (Early Childhood) holds a
B.A. degree from Anna Maria College and an M.A.
from Clark University. She completed an
intensive early childhood music teacher
training workshop with Music Together of New
Jersey during the summer of 1997. Julie is a
member of the Early Childhood Music and
Movement Association and has attended a number
of their professional development conferences.
Julie is also a former member of the Master
Singers of Worcester. |

Linnea Lyerly holds a B.A. in Vocal Performance/Arts Administration from University of Maryland, College Park. Since moving to New England in 1998, Ms. Lyerly has worked in the Shrewsbury Public Schools as an Extended School Care teacher and Classroom Aide. She has been a Music Together parent at Pakachoag since 2004 and was so excited about the program and its benefits, that in 2005 she completed the Music Together teacher training. As the younger of her two children reached elementary school age, Ms. Lyerly was happy to be able to ontinue her involvement with Music Together by joining Pakachoag's roster of Music Together teachers starting in the Fall of 2010. |

Katie O’Connor completed Music Together training during the summer of 2009 and joined the Pakachoag faculty in Fall of 2009. Katie recently completed a Bachelor's degree in music education at Anna Maria College where she studied both voice and violin. Katie is also a Pakachoag Music School alumna, having studied violin for over 7 years with Maxim Korn, and having served as a volunteer intern during special summer programs with young children. |

Mary Anne Slack (Early Childhood Teacher &
Curriculum Specialist) first became affiliated
with Pakachoag Music School in 1983 as a voice teacher. In 1984,
Mary Anne took over the early childhood music
classes and has continued teaching in this
capacity since then. Mary Anne holds a B.A. in
Music Therapy from Emmanuel College and
completed additional coursework (toward meeting
teacher certification requirements) at Anna
Maria College. She holds an M.Ed. from Lesley
University in Creative Arts and Learning. Mary
Anne also teaches music in the Spencer Public
Schools (kindergarten) and elementary music and
chorus at the Memorial School in E. Brookfield. |

Alison Snyder holds a B.S. in Elementary Education and a M. Ed in Reading and Children’s Literature from Penn State University. She taught elementary reading in public schools in Maryland, California, and Massachusetts before completing an intensive early childhood music teacher training program offered by Music Together in the summer of 2006. She continues to attend professional development workshops offered by Music Together.
Alison has been associated with PCMS for over 15 years, initially as a parent of two private instruction music students and a voice student herself (with Silvia Irving), then as a Board member, and now as an ardent school supporter and certified Music Together Instructor. |
